I stand right here on the edge of my world
and gaze across the vast, vast ocean
of years and memories,
joy and grief,
feeling
no remorse, no regret.

Contemplating, syncopating the rhythms of my life,
I open my arms and fly on thermal streams
of love across artificial barriers
of time and space.
sadness
plays no part.

Suspending all my thought and reason
I accept your love gift, freely given,
and lie, face down, before
the mighty power
Yahweh
